She looks cute, nice design and good job on the shading and lighting, man, I also liked the stylized background. I don't know how well the goofiness of your lines and style fit with the dynamism I get from the picture and perhaps I would appreciate a little bit more detail, perhaps in the clothes, hair and/or accessories but if so I believe some care would be needed to harmonize it with the visual load the lighting/shading effects already have. Well, anyway, my opinion. 4/5, thanks for making this, man.

Thank you so much for your kind words and absolutely solid advice, my man! Will definitely keep it in mind for the future :)

Great personality in the art, I like their expressions, the proportions, the curveness of some lines and the overall style. I would personally appreciate a more detailed background of some sort and perhaps poses with a greater focus on their faces, though I expect to implement that would mean a dramatic change in other aspects of the picture, so there's that to consider. Well, 4/5, thank you for making this.

I really liked the linework and colors of this drawing, the characters too look charismatic to me despite showing little of their faces (except the monsters, which I too found charismatic). I also enjoy the details on the bark of the trees and around the creature's nest. I feel like edgier shapes could possibly fit better in a scene like this, specially for the characters, but that could maybe be in conflict with the roundness in your style, so please take that feedback with a grain of salt. Overall pretty nice, thank you for making this.

Thanks! Great feedback 🙂

Very cute and clear, easy on the eyes, love that. Baaabs cute expression is perfectly juxtaposed with the omnious air of the rest of the piece. The font used and the frame design contribute to the cult/religious side of the piece, great job. Nothing much else to say, I think the lines and shapes add to and harmonize well, between themselves and the overall theme and picture, the shading and colors are well placed, well chosen. Yeah, good job, 5/5. Oh I just noticed the fingers on her left hand could have had been betterly defined, in my opinion. I guess if I could I'd give you 4.8 or something like that, but it's ok, let's round it up.

Really like the simplicity of the design, with the ragged cape tied by the shirt button and the Cult of the Lamb's symbol hat. The opossum idea of course is cute and funny, with chosen shapes that add to that; and I'd expect something like that could get childish or innocent by itself, but you did a good job on the composition, picture angle, shades and colors of the background and characters bellow (as well as the character's shapes) to give the omnious air that's required by the game's identity. Also, the trash around contributes to the comedy (and the cereal box picture to the cuteness) without detracting from the cult athmosphere, love it. The design sheet that follows is also a nice addition, naturally more dynamic and expository of the opossum's personality. I do feel like your piece had room for more intricate textures, I must say. It would be a different art, and with challenges in and of itself to get there, but I couldn't help but mention the thought. Anyway, for the perfect cohesion in my opinion, 5 stars.

Really like the energy emanating from it, intense, frightening. The wide-open, "crying" eyes (I assume it's actually paint or, *cough* blood), the chains and the chime also startle you in a good way. The many (apparently) cult members in the background also give a feeling of something greater than you imposing it's presence mercilessly. The candles also contribute to an aspect of mysticism. I just think the lines used to draw the legs, clothes and hands of the cult leader are too straight and the angles too sharp to harmonize with the meanings of mysticism and oppression (funny enough, I think everything above the neck is fine when it comes to that). Sharp is closer to danger and straight is closer to order for me, I'd use lines that are convex (and wide) for oppression and simply non-straight for mystical. Anyway, this is all a semiotics discussion in the end so I have no idea if what I'm saying on that part has any bearing (though I won't deny my feelings about it). 4.5 stars.

Pretty well made and well polished, good work on the details and I like your choice of colors in purple and blue, specially in contrast with the fur's white. Lion's expression, glistening eyes and the blinking eye of his crown really hypnotises like a cult leader. I would prefer a more imposing species/shape instead of the cat one, that I assume was chosen for a beguiling/tricking essence to be given for the character, but I also understand and respect your idea. Pretty solid art overall.

I think the buildings and the scenery needed more detail, being the focus point of the composition (I think?), but the slav owl is good stuff. Overall good.

thestupidmeddy responds:

Yeah, I still struggle with backgrounds. I thought not to go overboard and keep it nice and simple.

I like the composition and the use of gradient in the circle, plus the text font is not bad. Also, hi Poppy.
